What's the general feeling about having a knobbly on the front rim and a semi-road tyre on the rear rim? For example, Karoo on the front and a Tourance on the back.
I found that, when riding in sand, my Trailwing front wheel seems to give away in turns way too easy. These days the Karoo's and TKC80's do provide adequate grip on the road and will help a bit more in sand and loose gravel than a Deathwing/Anakee/Tourance. Or does the problem lie with the rider? :?
