I thought I should show some pictures to demonstrate, some of the hidden effects of what people do??

We have all heard about the "coil stick" issues and how corrosion attacks them...

We have seen many discussions about parking bikes on the side stand, and parking bikes straight after washing them....

Anyway I pulled the plugs on an 1150 over the weekend, the one in the foreground is the RHS and you will note is way worse than the LHS, my conclusion is that the bike was parked on the sidestand so did not drain from the RHS pot after washing  ::)

Imagine your coil sticks living in that same damp enviroment, probability of corrosion???? High I reckon and they are not cheap!!!

So my recomendation, wash it, then warm it up or preferable a short ride around the block to dry it, and park it on the centre stand 8)
