Some years back a guy I know tried for some reason to ride through undernew a giraffe. His helmet touched the giraffes stomach with fatal consequences.
The only explanation that all that known him at that time, was that he was still affected after coming from the dentist.
Sorry, just a thought on hearing about elephants in the area and saw the picture warning of giraffe's.

We also went through Sabona on our Baviaans trip last year. Same thing happend: The GPS said this was the public road and the HUGE closed gate said this was a reserve with wild animals. Wild animals? Cool let go check.... with also a white land cruiser giving chase and letting us know that we were indeed in danger and he would take us out of the reserve. needles to say we saw no animals, only fresh elephant dung.... mmm that might have been interesting...

Just for the record, : Geoff Russell will confirm that there are White Lions in the Sabona Game reserve. They rode past them one year and after that the Game reserve restricted Bikes from riding through there. :mwink:
So next time any of you want to slip through there make sure you are ready to "meat" real white lions
