On my way @ 7 to meet up with Butchh in Maritzburg from Durbs.......New rear bigger bearing and this and that to value of R4500.00 even new Heidi front tyre that moans on the hot Durban tar ( thought it was my front wheel bearings going.... ) and then of to the Clarens getogether........
Stopping in Mburg and taking my helmut of there was a constant grrr of a pump under the tank. I checked that the key was turned of and it was........removing fuses did not help and I disconnected the battery. What could this be ABS or fuel pump ???
Phoned my trusted BMW mech in Pinetown and he gave some advise but in the end I had to travel all the way back to Ptown BMW.
It is now 10H30 and hot but at least we found the fault..........A relay on the ABS pump that was stuck :deal:
I could have just removed it ,but did not know there was a relay there, and continue without ABS but was not sure.
Any one had the same problem and I hope I am sharing some good advise here.
