Did a ride 2 weekends ago with a friend and his 1200LC. All went well except for the clutch that needed bleeding again.
This past weekend I rode to 73Peanut and all of a sudden I had sluggish exceleration in 6th gear?
Any ideas?
Pulled the carbs, cleaned them, made sure needle seals, managed to find the cause of the fuel smell (wasn't the needles that was fubar, but the one petrol feed to the carb rather)
It ran a bit better, took a hiway spoed ride and at 175km/h it started surging, like fuel starvation? Could it be the petrol pump going?
Any ideas?
