Does anyone have experience with this ultrasonic cleaner?

It seems reasonably priced (compared to more than double for similar size cleaners from other manufacturers) but does it actually work? And last?
There are quite a few reviews on the internet of cleaners which looks almost identical, but wondering if this is a cheap copy (I don't want to say Chinese because they're all probably built there now anyway).
Your thoughts please. Don't want to spend an arm and a leg for the occasional job around the house. My vrou will also want to use it for cleaning jewelry, silverware, etc. She has a small Takealot one now which quite honestly is less than useless.
