Advice please ???
Yesterday my bike suddenly died on me while riding. All instruments, lights and engine just goes dead and then would come on again. Clock stays on though.
The first hint was just outside Yzerfontein, we stopped to take a piccie of a pretty dam and flowers. Upon pulling away, the bike jerked as if I messed the clutch, pulling, jerking and pulling. I thought nothing of it, and thought it was simply me.
At the stop at the R27, I again stopped to re-align some ATGATT and the same thing happened when pulling away. This time I was sure it was not me.
Riding further all was kosher, till I slowed down to turn into our driveway; the bike died. All instruments dead and engine off, then the instruments and lights would come go on and off at rapid but irregular intervals.
Turning the handlebars seem not to play a role.
Now the "problem" seems to have disappeared again.
A relay playing up or what ??? Bike has just over 109 000 km.
