I need some advice from the dogs who regularly travel alone. The scenario is that I like traveling alone, but a bike loaded with kit and left outside a shop is just looking for something (or everything) to go missing.
Except for bying very expensive panniers that can lock, how do you people make sure your luggage is safe when you stop somewhere and you have to leave your bike alone for a few moments, like when going into the booze shop for some cold ones?
In the past I've had to resort to carrying everything with me wherever I went. Is this what other people who tour alone do?
