Been without two wheels for a while but the wife finally gave in and I’m back on the road with a new toy – 2012 KTM 990 Adventure. It never crossed my mind to replace the standard pipes, but after taking the dealers demo fitted with Akrapovic’s for a ride, I now understand. Those bad boys come in at a cool R12,500! and seems to be the preferred choice for this bike. What is the opinion on FMF’s going for almost half the price? Any other option I should consider.
