Airbox mods for Dakar

Just wanting to know if any of you Dakar owners out there have done any modifications to your airboxes and if so did it make a difference and how did you do it. I own a 2003 dakar and I took the baffel out of the exaust yesterday and she sounds much better. Now I hear if you give the bike more O2 she gets even better. Any advice on airbox modifications you guys have done will be apreciated. Thanks.
