I also have a problem with the stock KLR hooter, it sounds like an asthmatic mouse having a seizure, "Wheeeeeeeep"
The last time I used it in traffic I got laughed at by a chick on a Vespa
I have seen the Mini Steibel Airhorns on some overseas websites but the cost of the horn and the shipping etc held me back.
Then I found a normal 12V Dual Airhorn kit at AutoZone for around R130.
With a little creative fitment I now have a horn that cant be ignored >
Dam its loud, I showed Li and she jumped about meter in the air and said a dirty word!
Mounted behind the right side fairing
A little black bakkie liner and there it is!
