I'm planning a 3 week trip for next month. Most of it is pretty straight forward but I reckon I need to take a little care over the route through Lesotho. So I'm hoping for some feedback over the feasibility of the route below and if it's not possible then some alternatives.
Some background:
- 3 riders: I'm relatively newbie (but ambitious). The other two have experience on plastics.
- we have 4 days and plan to take it pretty easy through Lesotho
- bikes are klr650, f650gs and vstrom
- wanting something a little challenging. Lesotho is the challenging stretch of the trip
The route I've scoped out on T4A goes something like this:
- enter at Telebridge
- A2 to Mohales hoek
- gravel road north to Matatelile
- "Bikers slide your ass" to Semonkong
- Bad road (the road from Michiel's RR) to Mantonyane
- A3 then A14 to Sani Pass
