Hi guys
Ian from Cape Town here.
I traded my XJR 1300 for a GS 1200 but to be really honest....even though I am very confident and a reasonably able rider on tar, I am scared shitless of taking my bike onto the dirt. Been riding the gs now for almost a year so I have a good feel of the bike on tar.
I know there are thousands of kilometers of undiscovered territory waiting for me but I need to learn a completely new set of skills first. I really enjoy my GS even though it does not have the sort of explosive power I became accustomed to with the xjr. The wife loves it as a tourer and never complains of a sore back when we ride.....and that is good news for me.
Looking forward to meeting up or one day taking a ride with some of you.
