Hi there Guys.
I bought a 505 SXF from a mate who was leaving Dubai.
The bike had a Tick noise coming from the head. I did 7 hours on the bike and the noise got worse. I figured it was probably only the shimming of the valves.
When i opened the Cylinder head cover i was greeted by this

How about from this angle?
Here is the valve lever that it runs on.
The Local Dealership here had done a piston change at 100 hours and to my amazement nothing lined up. We figured that they had to Advance the exhaust cam in order to get the bike to fire up. I bought the new parts and the bike has easily 30%more power now. This poses a whole new set of problems as i now will have to learn how to ride the bike again!
