Are the GS 1200 shocks THAT Bad ??

Reading about Lucky Strikers ride in Botswana was the first that I heard about a faulty GS shock

Then I read the "Long Way Down" where the team lost about 3 rear shocks on their journey

I'm currently following the Scooters Delivery teams ride report from Cape to London
They lost about 5 shocks on their Journey
