Hi guys
This is a continuation of my other thread, as I'm new to an Oilhead and the noises mine is making is scaring me.
I adjusted the valves (They all seemed quite tight) and now it seems I've made whatever noise it was making worse :-[
It's most noticeable when actually riding and the engine is warm. When standing still, the noise seems quieter.
https://youtu.be/mdR4XZ84Bfs (Link to a recording of the engine).
At the same time (see attached pics) when adjusting the valves, the little flat bit that presses against the valve itself seems very loose? Is this not maybe the source of my noise? (I don't remember them being THIS loose on the left hand side).
I have done a full oilchange (Castrol GTX), and the bike has no lack of power. She still goes like a bullet.
I'm sorry for being a pest like this - I'm just worried, that's all.
I work 5 and a half days a week, and in PMB I'm not sure if there's anyone local that can look at/work on the bike.
