Are we being ripped off on price for spares?

My KTM950 is in for repairs for a oil leak @ Julian from SUPER BIKE SOLUTIONS, he found the leak to be coming from a crack in the Oil pressure switch.
Phoned agent for price:- Quoted +-R600-00 for new one  (he asks spares guy to re-check price, still waiting)
Bought similar part from Autozone (same as for VW) PAID R 30-00  (guess who will be working on my bike from now?)
