I seem to be in the very distinct minority of bikers who ride slowly.
That's partly why I ride alone, a group will get annoyed with me and I'd probably feel like we've rushed it.
I cruise at around 60km/h for the good/moderate bits and reduce in technical stuff but pretty much never go faster than 80km/h.
What's your average riding speed on a typical cruise? :ricky:
It's interesting that a large number of people seem to enjoy going as fast as their bike allows. I can never understand what's fun about
a-hundred-and-moertoe km/h - you see nothing, it's dangerous and you can't possibly enjoy the scenery when it's reduced to a green and brown blur...
I'm a proud tortoise rider... O0
