Base layer ( under pant )

Do you were a under pant under your riding pants? yes we were jocks , but do you wear a pant over the jocks but under the riding pant ? Saw a video where the rider was getting dressed and had what looked like "ski pant" as a base layer , then the riding pant over that ( mx and adventure pant ) . This got me thinking about this , sometimes the lining of the pant can chafe , and the base layer will prevent this . But our summers are hot and a tight might have one over heating . Experience and with the T shirt received I know the how hard it is getting the pants off when swetti . A moisture wicking base pant might just be the ticket , but as I have no experience with this , dont know if its the answer
