I started commuting with the bike again and picked up a problem. The battery runs flat while riding. When it is off it holds charge.
I bought a new battery thinking the old one was farked from all the standing, but it also runs flat. When idling the voltage measures about 13.3V and when switched off about 12.5V so it seems like it is charging, but the battery gets drained from somewhere.
Its probably a wire chafed through somewhere, I was hoping some of the electrical boffins could help me with testing methods to pinpoint the culprit.
Maybe someone has had a similar problem and can shed som light
I'm looking foward to taking her over the 100 000km mark (without pushing :biggrin
