I have had my '06 DL1000 for a couple of months and twice the digital clock has reset. The second time was on Saturday when we went out to Loskop. Stopped for lunch. When we came out my riding friends had to push start the bike. Since then, it has been starting every time, no problem.
The first time the clock reset itself to zero, there was no hint of a starting problem, but the bike shuddered once, while in motion and that was it, the clock reset. No starting issues.
Is this a battery issue, or should I be checking something else? ??? I know that a battery has a limited lifespan. I am thinking that this may be the problem.
Your thoughts?
