Great RR

Did you guys consider pushing the bikes through the Groot Rivier @ Groot Rivier Poort?  The water level looks about the same as when we went through. You can read our report here.

It would have been impossible. The Karoo had so much rain that the Grootrivier was dumping water into the Gamtoos at a rate of +- 100Qsecs.

This is a pic of the renovated bridge at Bruintjies kraal at that time. It has been raised by at least 20 cm. Towards Cumbria's side it was overflowing by 10 inches.
