Hi guy. I’m test the waters here.
I have a 2008 drz400E that I have fully redone and ungraded. I’m wanting to see what I can ask for it. I have all documents to prove everything that has been done. Here is what I have done to it
Frame, wheels and hubs all powder coated
Forked survived with new seals
All bearings have been replaced
All cables have been replaced
New controlled wired in
Seat recovered
Luggage rack
Top box
New air filter
Engen case savers
Break saver
New gear leaver
Brembow break leaver with breaded cable on front break
New grips
Radiator fan installed
New radiators
IMS tank
Carb serviced and rejected
New cylinder and piston
Valves checked
Drz400 sm sub frame to take the extra weight
New chain and rear sprocket
New spokes
Rear wheel converted to tubeless
I have the kit to convert the front as well (just not done yet)
Intergrated rear break light
All light converted to led
Spot lights installed. Wired into hi beam
New speedo cable
New chain slider
Tyers new
Trail mirrors
Folding mirror
Temp radiator cap
Fork protectors
New fork boots
New break discs
New front indicators
Front and rear grab handles
Grip tape on frame
New starter motor
New chain gard
Exhaust gard
New rear shock bumper and serviced
New break pads and break fluid
All bolts replaced and not a signal stripped bolt on bike
Hyde bash plate customised with stainless steel sheet to slide over obstacles better and extended to protect rear shock linkage
Old speedo had 30000km on it before I stripped the bike and started the project. Done another 1000km since the rebuild.
If I remember anything els I’ll post it.
What could I ask for this bike as I’m wanting to get a bigger bike so I can go on longer trips with the wife
