Is anyone keen to join me on this trip next week? My mate crashed at Man and Machine last weekend so unfortunately is out with broken ribs. More info on the trip below.
On Wednesday 6 September, you and your buddies will depart on a very enjoyable drive to our start point at Mountain View Hotel, Lady Grey. Here we will spend our first night and leave our cars and trailers in safety until our return on Sunday 10 September.
Day 2-5 will see us heading off for our challenge on the 10 highest mountain passes in South Africa.
We will spend 4 nights in the mountains at comfortable guest houses with dinner and breakfasts included. Lunch and drinks will be for your own account.
Day 5 we'll arrive back at our start point mid morning, pack-up, clean-up, and after lunch, drive back home, satisfied in the knowledge we've accomplished something few other riders have.
We will have ridden approximately 700km from start point to end, traversed between 12-15 mountain passes (including the 10 highest in South Africa), shared many laughs, many beers in the evening and experienced some of the most beautiful landscapes in South Africa on our motorcycles...
The cost for the tour is R9500 per person.
