Ben 10 Challenge - Getting high and saying goodbye in the Eastern Cape

The Mountain View Inn  was a bit dodgy when I stayed last time and things have not improved.

Place was left to be run by the kitchen staff with the chef taking forever to do our checkout and payment in the morning.

The 790 were really amazing. Both Michael and Boris said that it felt like they were on plastics

Unfortunately Shirley only received her Adv a few days before the trip and her first ride on it was on the day the trip started. I think it probably took a bit of time for her to get used to it coming of a 1200GS

Your mornings seem to have been extremely cold. What is the recommended time of the year for riding here Canzius? ???

The big bikes were perfect for most of the trip. Obviously my 701 would've been easier to ride up Ben Mac and Baster, but the time in saddle was comfortable on the 1090.

Time of year? I'm not sure.... I would say went went at a perfect time. Not too wet, cold only early morning. I think you would be in trouble on 2 or 3 of the passes if it rains. We had some residual snow on Ben Macdhui and it made things a bit trickier.

Have to agree...rather the cold in the morning, than having rain or snow.
