Best Sunday afternoon, ever

We left Bloemfontein and traveled east in the direction of Lesotho. About 50 km out of town and close to Thaba Nchu we found the most stunning area. It had open fields, koppies, river crossings,sand, loose rocks,  etc. At certain points we had to dodge cattle and sheep and a few big ant-hills.

Bees and I have been exploring this area, and we found the riding quite entertaining out there.  Mentioned to some friends, who brought some more friends along and a crew of 7 bikes arrived at the meeting point.  More than we expected, great - the more the merrier.  On previous rides, we chatted to the local farmers and they did not have a problem with us crossing their dirt - always friendly.  There are vast areas of unexplored riding territory - we have been properly entertained every time we have been there.

The guys who came along were great sports.  Some needed a push or a shove or a little assistance here and there, but no serious mishaps and everyone rode those beasts like they were stolen.  Well done - looking forward to some more!  :thumleft:
