My R1200GS has 34 000 km, I did a lot of dirt with it, went to Country Trax, did Sani Pass + some Touratech rides with KalahariBen.
Of course my bike had some scars, as to attest what I did with it.

Talking about the little falls I had with my bike, mikedabike advised me to contact Beemer Man, the king of bling.
And he was right, as usual!

Thank you Beemer Man for helping me put my bike into great shape.

Beemer Man will show you how easy it is to remove your valve covers, and erase all your scratches totally. The same applies for all parts of the bike, metal, plastic, painted areas.
His tools:
- Sand paper
- Spray paint
- Autosol
- and diverse products easily found in your local Hardware shop.

What looked impossible to do with a minimum equipment, Beemer Man showed me that one can take care of his bike on his own, without spending so much money in spare parts, or pannel beating jobs.

This forum is truly a great platform to exchange knowledge, ideas, info, and debate about our common passion.
