Bike stalls sometimes for no reason

Is it a common "problem" on the 990 R's? Sometimes before I pull away I will blup the bike and it stalls, once in a while when you want to accelerate it sort of miss a beat in slow traffic while you lane split but almost immediately recover. What can this be?

Does the accelerator module help for more smooth slow riding on the 990?
