Beemer guys . Just swapped my Suzuki DL1000 for a BMW1200St. Was a bit uneasy first with the new riding style. But then decided to go for it after seeing and riding the Beemer this afternoon. Filled in registration and licensing forms and off I go. BM run well. Taking it slow then running up the revs and then slowing down, speeding up again. Feeling all thepower bandwidths . Cruising a bit a fairly hi speed in 6 th and the a bit in 5 th. Felt like small "hik" at first and then sense of a sudden powerloss. Felt and sounded if it was smothering . Tried to let it keep running but turned of the high way. At the first stop it backfired and at the second stop cuts out. Restarted after a while but runs uneven like either missing some fire. Or bad timing or fuel starvation.
Can you beemer guys make diagnoses. Or give some insight.
