Dear Biker Friends, I am a new-be on this site, but heard just good things about it and its members.
I had some misfortune with my bike which I bought just a week ago... The seller disappeared and cannot be contacted, so no help there!
I am looking for a serviceable gearbox for my R 1200GS please. (2005 model - Gauteng Based in Pretoria)
....or can someone tell me what to do....
My gearbox slipped out of 6th gear at 130 km/h and the only gear I could select is 5th gear to engage.
4th and 6th gear act like neutral. Can't select anyting else. :'(
I have drained my gearbox oil and found copper-like shavings of metal in the oil.
