Firstly, I have to admit i'm no mechanical guru.
During a trip from Stoffberg area, I was greeted by a nice heavy shower for appr 40 km's and fairly deep water (no Baviaans Smitskraal though) arriving in Middelburg. Stopping at home, I smelled a peculier oil burnt smlee, but ignored, thinking water was still dripping on the exhaust. Today however, I discovered a oil leak on my garage floor!
On futher checking, it seems that oil is coming out of the gasket on the left side of th bike as on the link below. (for some reason the pic looks like a funduro...)

It also appears as if there is oil drops around the oil pressure switch. I have washed my bike to make sure I see all the leaks.
Now the real question if anyone can help. Didi the gaskets get damaged due to the continous rain and riding through deep puddle?? I'm in Middelburg, dows anyone knwo a reputable person that can fix this. Prefer not to go to BMW.
Thanks in advanace.
