I have decided to look into getting a BMW Rallye 2 suit, or whatever the latest GS style touring suit is. I recieved a very thorough soaking while on a 2 day ride recently (will post a ride report in the next 2 days), it has become apparent to me that I need an all weather, all climate, simple riding suit for road and dirt. At the moment my jackets have wet weather liners, but they are still a pain to carry, and very hot the second it stops raining. A BMW suit looks like the thing for me. Expensive, but functional. What I would like to know is:

1 - How water resistant are they?
2 - Do you have to put in / take out linings to make them waterproof or warmer?
3 - How warm / cool are they?
4 - How quickly do they dry out if wet?
5 - What is the crash protection (armour) like?
6 - Does it have a built in camelback?
7 - Should I get one of these as an all purpose riding suit?
8 - Is there a ladies equivalent for the Mrs? And does anyone have any knowledge of that?

Thanks,

Leon
