Day 3
Matat, Ramatsiliso border, Matebeng pass, Tsoelike bridge, Qacha's border

We started the day with a puncture just outside Matatielle. We turned off the main gravel road onto a 2 spoor that took us thru the veld for about 10km. It rained thru the night so the veld was extremely muddy and at one stage we rode thru 30cm deep water in long grass. We entered Lesotho at Ramatseliso and went up Matebeng pass. This is such an awesome pass it is a pitty that not more adv riders ride it. The pass and the road on both sides are not maintained any more and you will see in the photo's what I mean. It is absolutely adv bike heaven. We were hit by 2x hael storms,  it was blooddy sore. We retuned via Tsoelike bridge and the pass just east of Qacha back to Matatielle.

He sommer replaced the whole bike on Monday with a new Africa Twin and the other guy on the 800gs is busy trading his BM in on an AT as we speak :thumleft:

Wow, now that's proper adventure biking right there, amazing scenery and riding terrain  :drif: :drif: :drif: :thumleft:

Day 4
Matat, Ongeluks nek pass,Mount Moorosi, Senqu river crossing, Mohalieshoek, Sepapus border, Wepener

We left Resthaven Guesthouse at 6am and headded to Ongeluks nek border post. It rained the previous night so we new the pass was gonna be interesting. At first it was not too bad and we managed just fine but sooner than later we found ourselves in total snot muddy clay. Some of the bikes front wheels locked up and it took us 2 hours to get to the top.
Lake Letsie was absolutely breathtaking with huge flat green green grass patches.
From there we decended down to Ha Ratsonyane and followed the Quiting river all the way to Mount moorosi.
We crossed the mighty Senqu river and took an unknown 2 spoor almost to Mohalieshoek where we refueled.
We exited Lesotho at Sepapus gate and were back in Wepener at 15h00.
