I am in the very early stages of planning an extended (4-8 weeks) trip from George up to Caprivi, across Northern Namibia and then from there home. This is new to me...never done a trip with panniers, etc....more of a tour to visit places i spent time at in the army.
Botswana is an unknown for me . I would like to see Kubu Island and would appreciate any info on places of interest, places to avoid, where are bikes not allowed .
I would prefer to be off tar as much as possible and work my way probably from Upington towards Caprivi.
Any help / advice would be much appreciated.
