thanks already to many a dawg for great help.
mostly do the weekend-sleep-in-the-Karoo type rides when I get the chance (once every month or two)
and short commute to and from the station on work days
desperate to do a repeat of 3000km Nam trip I did in 1995 - or something similar
i'm a low budget cheapie
never paid more than R12 000 for a bike
got a 2002 Dakar as a gift from bro-in-law
he upgraded to F800GS
he's also a dawg . . .
