I am just going to get off the subject as well for the moment.

I was contacted by my mate Pierre in Windhoek. He has a friend whose legs were crushed during our military campaign, long time ago. They want to modify a GS/GSA with a sidecar similar to the photo, so that they can ride together.

Any suggestions or contacts which you will be willing to share?

What he said.

09 June 2021

I had decided that I was going to chill the whole day. Matilda stayed inside and I sat on the verandah.

After breakfast, it was journal, posting and planning time and then quality time with the Meikles.

I hope that Jupiter is following this RR, otherwise I am going to have to hunt him down. Fortunately he lives close by.

He has a similar setup as mine.  Loads of fun can be had.

10 June 2021

The Meikles had contacted a member of their community church group, and I was invited to visit the Viljoen family on a farm outside Mulilima.

Jess was with the dogs, Gracie, the brown one, is the wire chewing expert.

I packed and got Matilda ready for the road and Jess was cleaning the unused pool for a Saturday bash.

From their house, I was given an alternative route that would take me to the other side of Lusaka, so no traffic jams.

Branches in the road means accident or broken down vehicle.

The Chinese are everywhere, so are block manufacturing yards, stuffed up tar roads and it is obviously watermelon season.

And charcoal by the truck loads.
