Hey guys
My employer has a ride-on mower with a Briggs & Straton engine, the horizontal shaft type, that has been sitting for almost a year. (It was serviced and then stored)
We decided to get it going again just in case we decide to use it.
So I drained the engine oil and have found that the oil seems to have mixed with petrol, the fuel tap hadn't been closed.
Does this mean that the rings or something is buggered or can I put new oil in, drain that and refill again and off I go?
Advise would be appreciated.
Cheers
