I didn't expect to enjoy this RR so much but really did. I love the bucket list as we share most items on it and I have also done a lot of the same.
Have done OMD twice with a 1200GS, but that was more than 3 years ago. Was Very bummed last time we did a trip that we skipped OMD, I would love to attempt it on the 1190,just to compare how it does and also how I do, to check my own skill set. But it really does look a lot worse now so I should be careful what I wish for.

Thanks for the video. Having action visuals, one realizes that the terrain isn't as easy it appears in still photos. It is a beautiful part of the country.

Glad you enjoyed it! I am also happy to announce we'll be doing another bucket list ride, 23 Rivers in Limpopo later in May, keep an eye out for that one

I have no doubt you can still do this on a bigger bike, but it's going to be very "interesting" especially west to east (like we did). Maybe try the other way around first from Bokpoort side just to be safe? At least then the hectic parts are all downhill. We expect an awesome ride report if you go do this one again
