I must admit that I have a soft spot for the Triumph Bonneville range with the Thruxton being my personal favourite , they are good solid bikes with decent if not outstanding power , handling and braking , but whichever one I ride I always seem to come out with a grin from ear to ear afterwards . And of course they have the other quality in that they are a blank canvas as in they endear themselves to an endless amount of modifications without detracting from the original character of the bike .
And then a while back Buddy let me know that he had bought one and wanted me to give it a once over , of course he didn't need to twist my arm much and I concluded afterwards that he had bought a good bike . His first comment was what an easy and fun bike it was to ride , and of course over it's life it would need some farkling and tuning .
Herewith BOB , pretty much as received
