Hi fellow members.

As a new owner of a small capacity bike (SYM NHT200) I am looking at getting some luggage.
Problem is my budget is very tight. Under R1000
I am looking at soft dry bags or duffle bags in the 40-60lt size.
If anyone has a suggestion on brands or even second hand ones, any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks

I have made a few of this old army balsak bags. Mini version. Semi waterproof inner. Heavy duty. Used the proto-type on a Nam trip.
That is beautiful. How much would you ask for it? Send me PM if you have time. Otherwise you can post the price here also if you don't mind

Look at the GoGravel range....you get the 30L Aghulas at R999 from Takealot and I have the 40L Little Karoo that is R1200...totally waterproof and comes with straps.

Hi. Thanks for all the replies.
Think I will look at Nomads bags.
The tailbag for daily commute and the 38l for some longer trips.
I will need to wait till payday as there has been some unexpected expenses.
Had a fire on the plot 2 weeks back and still finding stuff that got damaged.

Best choice in terms of quality and affordability. I initially thought you were looking at pannier bags hence me suggesting the 'Big Bag Panniers'.

Pete's bags are very good! You won't be disappointed.

Guys, also check out Decathlon. Sports shop that do all sorts. They had a bunch of drybags when I was there with VERY good pricing.
