Ok, the original thread was started in the Racing section as I thought it is racing related. So I'm actually in two minds if it actually belongs here. Maybe more technical feedback from this side ??

The reason it might now be more appropriate here is the tools and process is more relevant to this area is the project in general including the tube bender etc etc that is coming up soon.
