A house for which I did the building plans in Leeuwfontein was recently finished. The owner sent me some photos of when the finishing touches were being applied.
The estate is in a nature conservation area, so the owner wanted the house to blend in. Although the house is quite large, the single storey keeps it from towering over the bushveldt. The lawn is kept to a minimum to encourage the natural bush and wildlife to get close to the house. This is not a house anymore, it is now a home.
