Top end is still hectic but the lower parts have been fixed up a lot.
3 new gates but all were un-locked.

We were on our way back to Durb's from the Claren Beer Fes.
It was at the Beer fes (after a few) that we decided to do the pass.

Did it last weekend. Going down was fine. Getting back up was the part that got me sweating.

The last time I went up it I broke 2 ribs.
Stupid mistake but in hind sight most offs are 

I first went up this pass on a bike in 1984,  two up on an XT500.
Back in the 70's we used to drive up it with 2x4 Hi-Lux no problem.
The road was a lot better back then. So was the beer...
