Some interesting questions come to mind ...

Did you romp around with wet gear all the time (boots and socks)?
Any odd creatures or water born diseases?
Any floaters?
It was extremely hot, we used every oppertunity we could get to take a swim ( with all our gear on, boots included ) as you can see in the photos. Because of the heat we dried out within a few minutes just to reach the next river crossing a few minutes later.
We loved all the river crossings because it gave us a chance to cool down.
We saw a few snakes and rats in the water that joined us for a swim.
We had a number of scorpions in our beds and had to clean our boots every morning before we put them on.
I was bitten by something that burned like hell, dont know what it was but the docter pulled 2x small fangs out of me.
Floaters, yes we did see a few. Cambodia has no suridge system nor any rubish removal system, you have to see it to believe it.
O yes, I'd forgot, almost everybody had diarree.
hahahah welcome to South East Asia mate!

Takes a few months before the stomach adapts enough to handle some of it

Looks like it was one great trip. I was in Cambodia about 10 years ago filming a documentary and remember it as one of the coolest places I have ever been. Sonja and I often said we would go back there if we had half a chance.
Now it seems like we will have to go back to ride that trip. Thanks for screwing up my budget.

Cambodia is a place to visit , ride some bike and take in the history

Sonia and Paeng are the people to know , i did a trip with Paeng , one of the best trips ever . P knows his country and the best spots to ride

From airport to airport an excellant experience , Sonia sorted everything and P knows how and where to ride , contact them , i am sure they will look after you well

ps unless you have been to India , you will be shocked at the traffic in Phnom Penh ..... Enjoy !!

Thanks Losper looks like a helluva lot of of fun. You video was awesome to watch. Pity there was only one off to see ;D

Speaking of jyppo guts, did you take immodiums with you?

There were a lot of off's on the trip.
Yip the immodiums worked extremely hard on the trip.
Some of the guys ( including me ) were bitten by various insects and other unknown small "creatures" and it frikken stung like hell.

When I started reading the RR I thought "Kim Wilde" Cambo-o-o-d-i-i-aaa! and it set the tone for the video...nice!

You dont wanna use your own bike for this trip. We truly abused the bikes, we constantly drowned them, disk brakes had to be replaced every 3rd day, etc

My other thought...could be fun, but not on your own bike.

Nice one Losper  :ricky:

Awesome, awesome, awesome, that's all that comes to mind at this moment! See you on Sunday morning Losper!  :thumleft:

Brilliant!!
I have often seen this trip advertised in the Brit TBM mag and wondered what i would be like.
Think my bucket list just got longer.
Also good to see those little XR's taking the beating! My wife has one!

Daai 5x varke is almal lewendig.
Dit was so 'n awesome experience, ons gaan weer in 2013.

Wat 'n klein wereld. Nog nie die hele RR gelees nie. Gister hier by kamers loop ek amper 'n ou met krukke, en 'n af regter been, onderstebo. Laat my toe dink aan my ongeluk vroëer die jaar.

Lyk dit was 'n great trip.

Geniet volgende jaar!! Ek neem aan julle beoog 'n kleiner groepie volgende keer?

Dieselfde 6 vriende plus miskien nog so 2 of 3 sal volgende jaar gaan.
