Camera: will it survive in the topbox...?

Need your views please.  I'm taking my camera (Canon EOS digital) with on our trip through Bots & Nam.  I bought one of those (expensive!!) indestructable 'Pelican' cases with the removable foam portions, and removed the pieces so the camera fits nice and snug in the centre.  Now for the question:  Will the camera survive the trip in the pelican in my GS's top-box?  I know it vibrates in there like crazy, but will the case+foam do the job?
