Canals - Harties to Beestekraal

Good day, all

I am looking for information where to start the famous canal-ride from Harties to Beestekraal. A fellow KLR Clanner and I are planning a ride for Saturday. We are both fairly inexperienced in planning a ride; assistance will be highly appreciated.

I do not have access to Mapsource and from the jpeg maps I looked at it was not very clear where the canal-routes start.

We plan to get together at the Wimpy at the Engen garage and the make our way towards Beestekraal.

Anybody who can assist to get us going in the right direction?
