**Cancelled** Killarney Short Circuit Track Day 9 May 2010

<Edit: 7 May 2010> Unfortunately this event has been cancelled due to rainy weather forecast on the day. All in the interest of rider safety.

Hi All

This Sunday, 9 May 2010, there will be another short circuit track day at Killarney.

It is best suited for the following bikes:
Motards  >
Adv Bikes
Off Roads/MX
Scooters
Up to 200cc road bikes

Ladies are also welcome to join in the fun. You will have your own session and you can also fall in with the guys if desired.

This was the layout of the track last time: Should be similar...

The dirt section on the left will also be opened for certain sessions (motard, adv, MX)

ALL tyre types are allowed.  :thumleft:

Pls just come with proper riding gear like helmet, gloves, jacket, boots...

Costs: R120 per rider

Time: 12pm

Its a whole lot of fun in a controlled environment.

PLEASE NOTE:
If it rains, this event will unfortunately be cancelled. 

Too much of a risk having newbies on a wet track.

The wet track also defeats the idea of the day, i.e. to improve overall cornering skills.

We will see how the weather holds up.

I will update this thread as the week goes on.

I am in contact with the marshalls/organizers and will keep everyone updated with the status quo.

This is unfortunate, but better for safety.
