Hi guys
We have been planning a ride from Cape town to Cairo for some time and suddenly it's just around the corner. The name of the trip is KORTPAD NOORD...its supposed to be ironic :biggrin: We will be leaving on 1 September from Cape Aughulus and our plan is to do as much dirt as possible on the route to Cairo. We only have 3 months to Reach Cairo.
In the last few weeks things have picked up some speed and we now have the privilage to envolve Joost's J9 foundation in the project. This means that we now riding for more than the sheer enjoyment of it. We also have the opportunity to raise awarenes and hopefully funds towards Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
I will try to keep the thead updated with a nice ride report as far as i can. We are also documenting our progress (planning and otherwise) on our facebook page if anyone wants to have a look. The more people supporting the better for J9!!
