Howzit guys!
I've got a 2005 Golf 5, where the leather upholstery on the door panels are loose (close to falling off).
Is there anyone on here that does this kind of thing or knows someone that does?
A good job that doesn't require my kidney being sold off?
The pieces need to be replaced (I believe) as the leather has separated from the sponge portion that sticks to the door/panel.
I got a rough quote from a place close to my work, but I find it a tad hard to believe that a market related price would be R1200 per panel (which is probably about 600mm x 400mm each).
If that is indeed a good price, then fair enough, but grief, I paid R400 back in 2009 to replace my Corolla's complete roof lining.
Any advice/suggestions/recommendations?
