Carrier advice please???

I am in need of some serious advice!

After the birth of our son, I don't get to riding my bike as often as I did. Have been pondering on some ideas for some time now.  For all the guys that has experience in this, I need your input.

How do I fit the baby chair on my luggage plate? Front back or back front and how do I tie it down?
